Tern Systems and ONDA have signed a contract for supplying and installing 3D Tower and Radar Simulator. ONDA (Office National Des Aéroports) is the Moroccan airport operator and administrator with headquarters in Mohammed V International Airport in Casablanca. The installation consists of 6 controller student positions, 6 pseudo-pilot workstations and 2 supervisor workstations. The 3D view consists of 140° spherical view and three projectors, providing a realistic seamless 3D Tower view for the tower controller students. Delivery is estimated Q4 2010.

ATS Message Handling System (AMHS), also known as Aeronautical Message Handling System, is a standard defined by ICAO (International Civil Aviation Organization) for aeronautical ground-ground communications. The current AFTN/CIDIN Switch from Tern Systems has excellent track record (100% uptime) since it became operational in March 2006.

Isavia, the Icelandic airport administration and is responsible for operating all public airports and air navigation services in Iceland, has put Integrated Situation Display developed by Tern Systems into operation. The Integrated Situation Display integrates two fundamental systems in the Reykjavik Oceanic Area Control (ROACC) – the Radar Data Processing System and the Flight Data Processing System. Until now these systems have had a very limited connection – where the controllers have been using two separate displays depending on the surveillance information available.
